    Why Safari with Us?

Quality: For us, a sense of interconnectedness with society and luxury goes hand in hand with quality. This connection is something we can assure you of with this tour. As a result, we’ve planned this journey so that you won’t just be taking in the views but also creating lasting memories with us and the community that surrounds the Chitwan National Park. In particular, the Tharu community will take us to the realm of fraternity as we walk to them. We won’t just be mingling with the people but taking pictures, eating with them, and establishing a bond that would be cherished even beyond the end of the journey.

Giving back to the community: One of the strongest elements that improve society, in our opinion, is acknowledgment. Despite globalization, Nepal has entered the mainstream but has not yet been fully explored. Along with its mountains, Nepal is proud of its people, history, and origin, all of which are acknowledged by us Nepalese via the celebration of our existence. Therefore, with this tour, we hope to contribute to the recognition of those places in the country that have been walked around but not yet explored for its foundation. In Meghauli, it’s the Tharu community. By staying with them, we would be celebrating them, their culture, and their lifestyle. Just by hearing their stories, we would be cherishing them and filling them with content.

Likewise, while exploring wildlife, just being responsible will benefit the surrounding community to a degree beyond our imagination. By responsible, we mean not littering and going with the flow of the wildlife.

Later in the night, you can roam around the streets of Thamel, enjoy some delicious Nepali food and rest for the amazing trip that awaits you.

    2. Day 2 Kathmandu fly to Bharatpur or drive to Meghauli from Kathmandu-Tharu cultural program

You can either fly to Bharatpur in 25 minutes enjoying a serene bird-eye view of the valleys, rivers, hills, and mountains or enjoy a road trip of 5 to 6 hours and reach Meghauli. Both of the ways will be comfortable and have their own pros and cons, however, you will have all the freedom to decide.

No matter which forms of transportation you would choose, the treat of the day will unfold at night. The treat is the Tharu Cultural Program – a magnificent means of conveying the significance of festivals, farmland, and the heritage of linked families in the life of the people of the Tharu community. The program would consist of different skits, dances (the main focus), and songs.

    3. Day 3 Visit Tharu Village

The Tharu community is more than just performers and we will uncover this fact in their village. A special interaction program will undergo as we arrive in their village. We will head there in the morning and stay till evening. We will be living like the Tharu people for the day. We will have arranged the cultural dress of Tharu for you and together with them, you will be cooking food and eating them. A special Tharu dish called “Ghongi” will be cooked exclusively for you. Upon eating, we will hop on with them as they do their activities and in the meantime, we will interact with them to know more about their culture and the place.

This interaction will play a huge role for the further three days that we will be traveling. The Tharu people will give us a brief orientation on what to expect in our adventure and they will make us feel at home. You would certainly want to be a part of them at the end of the day.

    4. Day 4 Wildlife Adventure

Today is the first day of our adventure. We would have lined up some activities for you. Today you would start your adventure by canoeing in the Rapti River. After canoeing, we will take some rest, eat good food and get back to our adventure. We will visit the Elephant Breeding Center and watch the gigantic yet beautiful elephants dancing around the woods and bathing. We will talk with the breeders there and know the history of the place. At the time of sunset, we will make our way to the bank of Rapti river and watch the sun being devoured by the river.

    5. Day 5 Wildlife Adventure

Today’s major highlight will be the “bird-watching” tour. Early in the morning, we will make our way to the jungle with a guide and a bird specialist to discover hundreds of birds that we have never seen before. Out of 534 species of birds, we will aim to watch the majority of them. If we are lucky, we might even get to see the rarest of the birds like the Bengal florican, Kashmir flycatcher, Red-headed Vulture, and Oriental darter.

Later in the afternoon, we will go for a Wildlife walk in the dense jungle. This will be an amazing opportunity to see different species of animals and birds.

    6. Day 6 Jeep Safari

Today’s Jeep Safari will last the entire day. There is no denying that a Jeep safari is the best way to explore Chitwan’s abundant wildlife and lush vegetation. Our skilled naturalist will guide us as we travel through diverse ecosystems and follow his/her footprints.

A jeep safari will guarantee us a live and challenging encounter with the wildlife. Nature’s inseparable part is the flora and fauna. The safari is our gateway to experience the faunal life of Meghauli’s dense nature.

It is best to consult your home physician first. However, the major places of interest in Kathmandu, Nagarkot, Chitwan, Pokhara, and Sarangkot lie below 3000 meters, and are accessible by vehicles, so it is possible to tour around major places of interest.
